Declareworld: Can we meet you, What is your name ?
My name is Deborah Ibrahim but most people call me DEBORAH and i have adopted that and loved it.
Declareworld: Please our audience might like to know what your childhood, growing up, midlife crisis, relationship and all that was like ?....
My upbringing is all about God, i grew up in a Godly environment, my mother would always tell me to run away from the things of the world,while growing up my life revolved around school,market,church and the house, i grew up in oshodi (lagos), i am engaged and will be getting married soon...
Declareworld: How did the whole Music thing start ?
I started my musical career at the age of six(6) in the children choir then at the age of fifteen(15), i moved on to the adult choir where i discovered my purpose and assignment in life, i started writing songs at the age of sixteen(16) that was how i grew up building my musical life i continued until the potential which God deposited in me began to spring up and God told me that i should go and engulf the face of the earth with the spirit of worship and singing songs, share the love and win souls for Christ. I wrote two(2) songs "THE NAME OF JESUS", and "KABIESI" that won me the award of the NEXT RATED TRADITIONAL GOSPEL ARTIST OF THE YEAR 2016 and i must confess the lord has been faithful and i have not started what he has called me to do. The best is yet to come...

Declareworld: So why Gospel Music, what's the drive and what fuels your passion?
There is a positive vibe about gospel music it literally connect you to GOD,it ministers to the spirit, it is used as a means to trigger GOD to action... My passion for it is unexplainable and indescribable i live a life of WORSHIP

Declareworld: What's your say concerning the current position of Christian Music in Nigeria?Christian Music in Nigeria has acquired a character based not on wholesale imitation of the dominant driving force of American gospel music, but on indigenous driven by the needs of its audience. The expansion of the evangelical movement and Pentecostal activity in Nigeria continues to point to gospel music as crucial pillar of the Nigerian music industry.
Declareworld: What has been your greatest challenge as an artiste?
For me as a person who is called by God i see challenges as process i have always observed that for every man that is born into the earth and has discovered his purpose there is always a process time God sets his ways, you are expected to go through life's process in stages and phases. This shows God is squeezing the quality out of us,through all this God has been faithful when he gives you a vision he will definitely make a provision...

My greatest achievement was getting to know CHRIST and doing his will because our goal is HEAVEN

I don't have any kids, not married but sooner or later this year will be getting married...
