Nathaniel Bassey Uses Moi-Moi (Bean-cake) To Illustrate Praise/Worship Songs @nathanielblow

Nathaniel Bassey Shares Deep Illustration Using Moi-Moi(bean cake)
Nathaniel Bassey took to his Instagram page to share an interesting article, using the food Moi-Moi(bean cake) to illustrate the term ‘Praise/Worship.’

The Nigerian Gospel Artiste who just recently wrapped up the #OneHourHalleluyaChallenge began by indicating the fact that how ever moi-moi is packaged, it is more special when it is wrapped in a leaf.

Nathaniel Bassey went on to add that, the leaf gives the moi-moi a unique and distinct flavor.

“No matter how you package moimoi (A traditional Nigerian bean-cake dish) you won’t deny the fact that there is just something special about the moimoi cooked and wrapped in the moimoi leaf.

The flavor is simply unique. Something you most likely won’t get from having it wrapped another way.”

He explained further that despite the fact that we tend to ‘funkify’ our traditional songs, it will always be more special when these songs are sang in their original accents and tonations.

“I believe the same is true of our indigenous praise and worship songs. While it’s great to “funkify” and tweak traditional songs from time to time, to have contemporary feels and flavor,

There’s just something special about singing those songs with the original accent and intonation. Something’s are best served as they are. JUST LIKE THAT!
