Singer, songwriter and senior pastor of Lighthouse Spirit City, Shedrack Christ Ekwueme has released his debut single titled - "The Cry" (Saviours Arising).
Sharing the inspiration behind the song, he wrote:
"The whole of creation is subjected to bondage against its own will. The strain, the wearisome desire to be free from the power of Sin, of Death and of the Grave. The power of the captor over the captured. The young and old alike, all under the oppressive power of sin, of the Devil, of the Systems of the world.
So, a cry is released to the world. A cry for the emergence of saviours. Saviours from every corner of the earth. "Everyone who has been saved, please save us!” the earth cries. The ones in dungeons, in prisons, lost in addictions, they cry – save us! "We do not want to miss Heaven". "Hosanna! Hosanna! Blessed are the saviours who come in the name of the Lord, Hosanna! Hosanna!"

Shedrack Christ Ekwueme is the senior pastor of Lighthouse Spirit City. He stands as a voice called to magnify the day of the Lord – the day of Jesus.
He lives bearing the call of God. The call to raise a people who indeed are the light of the world. Spirit City is not a denomination; it is a desire to be an answer to the prayer: "thine will be done on earth as it is in Heaven." A desire for a generation of people who will live the spiritual life naturally.
He submits under the tutelage of Pastor Chingtok Ishaku of the God Life Assembly and Rev. Chris Delvan Gwamna of the New Life Assembly.
